Is Anybody Listening?

President Obama watched this video and tonight on 20/20 they showed his answer to it.
The pain this country is going through is carrying over to our children.
I wish the Republicans in this country would join in to find solutions instead
of just being obstructionists.
Give us their plan, not just their criticism.

Wow, that was heart wrenching to listen to...haven't heard the response from the president yet, but plan to. These kids shouldn't be this worried and distraught and thinking they have to take on this burden for their parents...makes me even angrier than usual at the greedy pricks who are walking away with their bonuses after causing this mess...

I don't know how any of these motherfuckers can be socialists and greedy bastards simultaneously. Hands off the markets, but government, come to my rescue! Then I'll feast on taxpayer money.

It makes me ill. And the Republicans for the most part are being obstructionists without offering anything.

20/20 had me in tears
The President stopped by that school
and told those kids he was listening.
But he can't do it by himself he needs help from Congress, and that includes Republicans.
The leadership needs to quit accessing their chnaces for 2012 and start rebuilding this country.

Green Tea: I feel Washington is a very harsh place and probably has been for many years. So, it makes me wary of anyone actually getting work done. I hope this can change!

Grassroots movements move faster and with more results than Washington, Michael......hmmm, maybe that's an idea!

Was anyone listening to the last part, "Debt is what is going to kill America."?

I agree, the video said it all. I am happy to hear that our President stopped by the school.

I thought the President was awesome in his press conference last night. I loved when he put the reporter in his place by saying he "likes to know what he's talking about" before he speaks. Can anybody say "SNAP"?????
