Five years ago My Senator spoke

If only someone had listened, maybe 4000 of our kids would still be here, and if
Paul was still with us, I think he would have been a candidate for President.
Many in Minnesota, see something in Obama that reminds them of our friend Paul.

The Senate is a much different place without our champion for the people without a voice. Everytime I hear Norm speak I just cringe thinking whose place he took.

After watching this video I watched several others and remembered what a truly remarkable people Paul and Sheila were.

I have always found it ironic that he lost his life on the Range. A place who grew to love him and I truly believe helped him win his first election.

I meant to write back, yes I did I get the link to the article. Thanks for sharing.

(THE accident happened within 2 miles of my brother's house. I still haven't made it out to the site but I hear it is just beautiful.)

PS-Watch the scores of the boys basketball tourney. If St Thomas Academy wins on Wednesday night they will be on TV Thursday evening. You can catch a glimpse of my brother, the head coach.

This guy was as close to sainthood as a politician could be, I think.
