Grammy's

Even though I didn't know some of the nominees,
I really enjoyed the Grammy's last night.
Never heard of Adele or Duffy and
I am not a big fan of Rap, as cute as Kanye is I wouldn't buy any of his CD's.
Never been a fan of Kid Rock either,
his attitude turns me off more then his "music" ?
Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles face contortions ruined her performance for me.
But Carrie Underwood was great.

I am more into Rhythm and Blues,
Last night Jennifer Hudson stole the show and she blew me away again, she is fantastic.
Hard to believe she was kicked off American Idol

Al Green and Jamie Fox awesome.

I felt sorry for Whitney Houston, her nerves showed and people are implying she was on the sauce, but I don't think so.
I hope she can revive her career, but her voice sounded pretty scratchy last night,
maybe caused by cigarettes.

Oh I didn't forget Sir Paul, never could.

I'm so with you on the new music...never thought I'd say that! We have stopped watching the Grammys because of it. We are jazz and R&B people, as well as other stuff, but they never get to see too much of that at the Grammys....too much Rap, which isn't our fav.

I was pleasantly surprised at how good the grammy's were too. I'm also not a big fan of Kid Rock, but I loved the song he performed. I thought the words were very powerful. And of course Jennifer Hudson was SO awesome I was crying before she was. I'm with you on Whitney Houston, she seemed sober, but petrified. I thought it was great that the crowd gave her a standing ovation of support when she walked out on stage.

Don't forget about Stevie Wonder!!!! He did well. Even if the Jonas Brothers sang with him.

Yes Stevie was great, he should have performed alone.
I think the Jonas brothers chastity belt's were too tight causing them to be pitchy :D

Kitty, you are too sweet, I don't follow 10 blogs, and so I have a problem doing these tags or I may wear out my short welcome... :D
One that I followed went private and I wasn't invited..what does that tell you? LOL
