It has been awhile since I have blogged. The past year I have been so involved with so may things I didn't take the time, and Facebook kinda seemed easier, then life took a nasty turn and I am now a member of a club I never wanted to belong too,
Bob always referred to it as "my widows network", friends who had lost their spouses and he took over their tax work. Well, now I need an accountant.
Bob passed away on July 21st after being diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer. He chose not to go through chemo and began completing his bucket list.
I am including the video my son and My granddaughter in law put together of his life. It was a beautiful tribute to him:

Hey Gigi! It was so good to finally meet in person...I can't believe it has been so long in blogland!
Sending you and your family big hugs.
you have long been in my thoughts and prayers..need anything.? I'm a phone call away.
Riot Kitty sent me here and I'm glad she did. The video of Bob was lovely and very difficult to view because it was so emotional. Could have been my Ron. My husband died on July 1st this year of bladder cancer and he too was a sailor. Was Bob on the USS Spangler, a destroyer escort? I was trying to identify it by number and appearance. I know how you are struggling because I am as well. God Bless you and your family.
It has been awhile since I stopped by here..I want to thank all of you for your kind thoughts..
No Annie Bob wasn't on the USS Spangler.
I am sorry for your loss..I hope things are going OK for you..
Someday maybe I'll feel like blogging..but now I spend most of the time on FB
